I have no idea why, after living in Swadlincote for over 10 years, we haven't been here before, but will definitely be returning! We celebrated our anniversary here and we were met with a friendly, warm welcome. A lovely atmosphere with heavenly aromas from the kitchen! Loved the wine recommendation, and the food was perfection; cooked fresh and plentiful portions! We took dessert 'to go' as we were too full! A real gem and a little corner of Italy on our doorstep! (Starters - Bruscetta, and Spicy King Prawns. Mains - Filletto Con Dolcelatte, and Filletto Marinarva. Dessert - 2 x After Eight and white chocolate cheesecake, a bottle of red and a beer).

I've just been here with 4 friends, a warm welcome immediately I walked through the door ,my main course of chicken and mushroom was beautiful and freshly cooked, my amaretto sundae was delicious and because I couldn't resist tiramasu, I had takeaway, I hadn't dined there before, but I will certainly be going again

This visit was my first and certainly won't be the last. The food was excellent and very traditional to the owners Italian roots. After eating and experiencing Italian culture this little gem.hits the spot. I would advise booking and they do take away to add ❤️

Celebrated a birthday during the week, Food was fantastic!!! Atmosphere was brilliant and the Host was such a lovely Gent!!! He really made our visit there!! thank you for a great dinner and fun atmosphere.

This is hands down THE place to go in and around Swadlincote for a really special meal. The service is faultless; personalised, warm, welcoming and of the highest standard. The menu is a little slice of Italy and the steaks are perfectly cooked as you request, they are beyond any I’ve had elsewhere (no steak knife needed it’s that succulent). The owners couldn’t do more for you whilst you are visiting, hats off to the chef, this is Swadlincote's little secret. Can’t speak highly enough of this wonderful restaurant. The incredibly high standards we’ve experienced are over multiple visits over many years … and it only gets better each time. Thank you for lots of nice memories and full tummies, we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Went as a couple on a weekday night. A bit quiet as you'd probably expect but enough customers to create an ambience. Service was quick and attentive, friendly yet professional. The food was served in a timely manner, but long enough to he reassured it was cooked from fresh. Had three courses and each one was faultless. The food was fresh, well cooked and full of flavour. A bottle of wine was reasonably priced (although I bought by the glass). Would highly recommend.
